CBO glasvezelkabel SFP8181FU1MK 1 m LC naar LC OM4 blauw/magenta

CBO fiber cable SFP8181FU1MK 1 m LC to LC OM4 blue/magenta is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for reliable short- to medium-reach optical connections. The 1 meter length with LC duplex connectors and OM4-rated multimode glass supports high-bandwidth applications in datacenters, network racks, and telecom equipment. The cable features a color-coded jacket for quick identification and compatibility with standard LC ports and transceivers that accept OM4 multimode fiber.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fiber core provides improved bandwidth and lower attenuation for short-range 10 Gbps, 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps links when used with appropriate transceivers. LC duplex connectors ensure a compact connection footprint and simple polarity management. A color-coded blue/magenta jacket simplifies cable identification and organization in dense cabling environments. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in rack and patch panel installations and helps maintain orderly cable management.

How to use

Confirm that both ends match the LC ports on your devices or patch panels and that OM4 multimode fiber is supported by the connected transceivers. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding duplex port until it clicks, taking care to maintain correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Avoid tight bends near the connector and route the cable with appropriate bend radius to preserve optical performance. When removing, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule.

Recommendations

Store and install this OM4 cable in accordance with standard fiber handling practices: avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius, keep connectors clean or use protective caps when idle, and use dust-free cleaning tools before making connections. For best performance in 40G/100G applications, verify that connected optics and transceivers are compatible with OM4 multimode fiber.
