CBO InfiniBand-kabel JNP-10G-AOC-3M-BO — 10G actieve optische kabel, lengte 3 m

The CBO InfiniBand cable JNP-10G-AOC-3M-BO is a 3-metre active optical cable that delivers 10 Gbit/s connectivity for high-density data centre and server environments. This BlueOptics AOC is engineered for low-latency, high-throughput links and reduces electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The cable is intended for short-reach optical interconnects such as switch-to-switch, server-to-switch and storage connections where a reliable 10G optical link is required.

Advantages

The active optical construction provides stable 10 Gbit/s bandwidth across a 3 m distance while maintaining low latency and minimal signal loss. Because the link is optical, it is immune to common-mode electromagnetic interference and does not require bulky shielding. The integrated transceivers and pre-terminated connectors simplify installation and reduce the need for field terminations or additional transceiver modules. The cable’s flexibility and lightweight design make cable management in racks and dense enclosures easier.

How to use

Install the CBO InfiniBand JNP-10G-AOC-3M-BO by inserting the factory-terminated connectors into matching InfiniBand or compatible 10G optical ports on switches, servers or storage devices. Ensure ports are powered down or follow hot-swap guidelines from the equipment vendor if connecting to live systems. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; observe the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent damage. After connection, verify link status and data rate through the host or switch management interface.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m 10G AOC for intra-rack and adjacent-rack links where 10 Gbit/s performance and immunity to electromagnetic interference are required. Avoid exposure to direct mechanical stress or environments outside typical data centre conditions; store and handle the cable using standard ESD-safe and cable-management practices.
