CBO kabel SFF-8644 stekker op stekker recht 1 m CBL-SAST-0573-BL

The CBO Cable SFF-8644 Male to Male Straight 1 m (CBL-SAST-0573-BL) is a 1-metre internal high-density data cable designed for direct connections between devices equipped with SFF-8644 ports. Intended for short interconnect runs inside servers, storage arrays or chassis, this straight male-to-male cable provides a standardized link for RAID controllers, host bus adapters (HBAs) and compatible enclosures. The compact SFF-8644 connector format supports reliable signal integrity in confined rack or chassis environments.

Advantages

This SFF-8644 male-to-male cable offers a space-efficient, high-density connection suitable for modern storage systems. The 1 m length balances reach and cable management inside server racks, reducing excess slack and improving airflow. As a purpose-built internal interconnect, it simplifies direct device-to-device linking while maintaining the standardized mechanical and electrical interface expected from SFF-8644 solutions.

Suitable for

• Connecting RAID controllers to compatible storage enclosures
• Linking host bus adapters (HBAs) to disk backplanes
• Short internal connections within servers and storage chassis
• High-density rack or blade server deployments where space is limited

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFF-8644 male to SFF-8644 male
• Cable length: 1 metre (straight)
• Application: internal data/interconnect cable for storage and RAID systems
• Cable orientation: straight, direct male-to-male connection
• Design: high-density compact connector suitable for tight chassis spaces

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each SFF-8644 male connector with the corresponding port on your device and gently insert until the connector seats fully. Ensure both ends are connected to compatible SFF-8644 ports on devices such as RAID controllers, HBAs or enclosure backplanes. Route the cable inside the chassis to avoid sharp bends and to maintain adequate airflow; secure with cable ties or routing clips if needed. Verify system firmware and drivers recognize the connected devices after powering on.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m straight SFF-8644 cable for short internal links where a compact, reliable connection is required. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on the connectors, keep the cable clear of hot components, and follow your server or enclosure manufacturer’s installation guidelines for internal cabling and grounding to ensure signal integrity and safe operation.
