BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand-glasvezelkabel SFP28 15m stekker/stekker

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP28 15m Male/Male is a 15‑metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high‑speed short‑reach links. It implements transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multimode fibre to carry optical signals for data centre and high‑performance computing interconnects. The cable is compatible with SFP28 ports and supports 25G class serial interfaces according to common MSA connector standards.

Advantages

This AOC delivers low‑latency, high‑bandwidth connections over a fixed 15 m length without the need for separate transceivers or patch cords. The integrated transceiver design reduces cable bulk and simplifies installation in dense rack environments. Compatibility with SFP28 interfaces and support for 25G multimode transmission make it suitable for Ethernet and other high‑speed fabric protocols where a reliable short‑reach optical link is required.

How to use

Ensure compatible SFP28 slots are available on the devices to be connected and that those devices support 25G AOC links. With both devices powered down or following hot‑swap guidelines from the equipment vendor, insert each SFP28 connector into the appropriate port until it latches. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, then power up equipment or verify link status if hot‑plugging is supported. Check link LEDs or management interfaces to confirm a successful connection.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for fixed 15 m short‑reach connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain, keep connectors free of dust, and follow your hardware vendor’s compatibility list for SFP28 AOC modules to ensure full interoperability.
