BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel SFP28 3m stekker/stekker

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP28 3m Male/Male is a 3-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed, short-reach links in data center and networking environments. It provides a pre-terminated, plug-and-play solution with male-to-male SFP28 terminations on both ends. The cable supports 25GBASE-SR4 transmission over multi-mode fiber with integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each connector according to MSA guidelines, enabling reliable optical signal transfer for compatible network equipment.

Advantages

This SFP28 AOC offers consistent 25 Gbit/s per lane performance over a 3 m reach while eliminating the need for separate transceivers and fiber patching, simplifying deployment and cable management. Male-to-male SFP28 terminations provide direct connectivity to SFP28 ports on switches, routers and storage systems that support 25GBASE-SR4 or compatible InfiniBand/fibre optic interfaces. The prebuilt optical link reduces potential errors during installation and ensures controlled optical characteristics for short-reach links.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-3M-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until the connector latches. Ensure both endpoints support 25GBASE-SR4 or compatible SFP28 AOC operation. Verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm correct port configuration (speed/auto-negotiation or fixed 25G settings as required by your equipment). Avoid bending the cable beyond manufacturer-recommended bend radius and route the cable through appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m SFP28 AOC for short, high-speed links inside racks or between adjacent racks where a pre-terminated optical solution reduces installation time and complexity. Check device compatibility lists for SFP28 modules and confirm that your switch or router firmware supports active optical cables for optimal performance.
