InfiniBand actieve optische kabel CBO CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-30M-BO 30 m SFP28 aqua

The InfiniBand active optical cable CBO CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-30M-BO is a 30 meter SFP28-form factor cable in aqua color designed for high-speed links between network devices with SFP28 ports. This active optical assembly integrates transceivers and single-fiber optical links into a pre-terminated cable, enabling long-reach connectivity in data centers, server rooms and high-performance computing environments without separate transceiver installation. The SFP28 interface supports high-density port environments while the active optical design maintains signal integrity over the full 30 m length.

Advantages

This active optical cable reduces installation time by delivering a single pre-terminated solution that combines transceiver and fiber. It provides consistent signal quality and low latency suitable for InfiniBand and other SFP28-enabled fabrics. The 30 m length expands cabling reach compared with direct-attach copper while remaining easier to deploy than field-terminated fiber. The aqua jacket and SFP28 connectors allow easy identification in cable management systems.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the SFP28 connectors into the SFP28 ports of the two devices to be linked. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for the desired link speed and protocol. No separate transceiver mounting or field termination is required. Route the cable through racks or cable trays, avoiding sharp bends and tight bends that can exceed the optical bend radius. Verify link status and adjust device settings if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid pulling on the fiber jacket. Maintain bend radii recommended for active optical assemblies and secure the cable in management clips to prevent strain on the connectors. Verify compatibility with the SFP28 ports and the supported link protocols on each device before deployment.
