InfiniBand-kabel CBO JNP-10G-AOC-15M-BO 15 m actieve optische SFP+-kabel, aqua

Active optical InfiniBand cable CBO JNP-10G-AOC-15M-BO is a 15-metre SFP+ AOC with an aqua jacket designed for 10 Gigabit interconnects between network switches, servers and storage systems. The cable uses optical transmission to provide low-latency, high-bandwidth links while avoiding electromagnetic interference common to copper cabling. Its 15 m length supports rack-to-rack or across-rack connections in data centre environments where SFP+ ports are available.

Advantages

This SFP+ active optical cable offers greater transmission distance compared with passive copper alternatives at 10G speeds, together with improved immunity to electrical noise and reduced crosstalk. The integrated transceivers enable plug-and-play operation with SFP+ ports, while the lightweight optical construction reduces cable weight in dense cabling environments. The aqua outer jacket provides colour-coded identification for organised cable management.

How to use

Insert the SFP+ connectors into the SFP+ ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring each connector is fully seated and the latches engage. No separate power or configuration is required for typical host equipment; the active transceivers draw necessary power from the SFP+ port. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges, maintaining the recommended bend radius for optical fibre. Verify link status on connected devices and monitor throughput and error counters after installation to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid exceeding the cable bend radius, keep connectors clean and capped when not in use, and use the aqua-coloured jacket to separate 10G AOC links from other cabling. Check compatibility with the host equipment vendor for supported SFP+ AOC modules before deployment.
