InfiniBand-kabel CBO JNP-10G-AOC-7M-BO 7 m SFP+ actieve optische kabel, aqua

This CBO InfiniBand active optical cable (7 m, aqua) is an SFP+ AOC designed for direct fiber-optic connections between SFP+ ports. It supports 10GbE/InfiniBand links and integrates optical transceivers within the cable assemblies, eliminating the need for separate hot-pluggable modules. The 7‑metre fixed length and aqua jacket make it suitable for structured cabling in data centre and rack environments where a low‑latency, high‑bandwidth link with reduced electromagnetic interference is required.

Advantages

The active optical design delivers high data throughput with low latency while reducing heat and power consumption compared with equivalent active electrical copper solutions. Integrated SFP+ ends provide plug‑and‑play operation, simplifying installation and maintenance. The aqua outer jacket and keyed SFP+ connectors help with cable management and identification in dense rack installations, and the optical medium eliminates susceptibility to EMI.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ transceiver slot on the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure devices are powered and configured for the intended 10GbE or InfiniBand link. Because the transceivers are integrated into the cable assembly, no separate module installation is required. Verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm negotiated speed and lane configuration on both ends.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories to maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer. Use the aqua colour for visual identification within patching panels and rack bundles. Ensure compatibility with the host device firmware and SFP+ port specifications before deployment to guarantee reliable operation.
