MiniSAS-kabel CBO 10117949-3030LF, 3 m lengte, externe Mini-SAS-aansluiting

MiniSAS cable CBO 10117949-3030LF, 3 m length, external Mini-SAS connector is a 3-metre external Mini-SAS data cable intended for connecting storage devices, RAID controllers and host adapters. The cable provides a direct wired link for high-speed serial communication in server, NAS and workstation environments, enabling replacement or extension of existing Mini-SAS connections over a 3 m reach.

Advantages

This Mini-SAS cable supports stable, point-to-point data transmission suitable for storage arrays and controller connections. Its 3 m length offers flexibility for rack-mounted systems and multi-drive enclosures while maintaining signal integrity for short to medium runs. The external Mini-SAS connector provides a standardized interface for compatibility with a wide range of servers, RAID controllers and external storage enclosures.

Suitable for

• Connecting RAID controllers to external storage enclosures
• Extending Mini-SAS links between servers and NAS units
• Replacing damaged or worn Mini-SAS cables in data centers
• Short to medium-length connections in rack and workstation setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: external Mini-SAS data cable
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector: external Mini-SAS connector (compatible with Mini-SAS ports)
• Application: high-speed serial storage connections for servers, NAS and workstations
• Design: shielded assembly for signal integrity in short-to-medium runs

How to use

Identify the Mini-SAS ports on the host controller and the target storage device or enclosure, ensuring devices are powered down or follow hot-swap guidance from the hardware vendor. Align the external Mini-SAS connector with the port and insert firmly until seated. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on connectors. After connection, power up the devices and verify link status in the controller firmware or operating system storage management tools.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for external Mini-SAS links, avoid tight bends and strong electromagnetic sources, and verify compatibility with your controller and enclosure specifications before installation.
