MiniSAS-kabel CBO 10117949-4020LF 2 m — CBO MiniSAS externe kabel 2 meter

The BlueOptics MiniSAS cable model 10117949-4020LF is a 2 m external MiniSAS connection cable designed for high-speed data links between compatible storage enclosures, RAID controllers and host adapters. With a two-metre length it provides flexible device placement in server cabinets, storage arrays and workstation setups while maintaining reliable signal integrity for SAS or compatible MiniSAS interfaces.

Advantages

This external MiniSAS cable offers stable high-speed data transmission over a 2 m reach, reducing the need for equipment to be placed in immediate proximity. The cable is engineered for consistent signal performance in rack and storage environments and supports common MiniSAS connection use cases between controllers and enclosures. Its external design simplifies routing and maintenance without opening equipment housings.

Suitable for

• Connecting RAID controllers to storage enclosures in server racks
• Extending MiniSAS links between host adapters and external drive arrays
• Workstation setups requiring external SAS connections for high-throughput storage
• Temporary or permanent cabling in data center and lab environments

Key specifications

• Connector type: external MiniSAS (SFF-8088 compatible form factor)
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Intended use: external SAS / MiniSAS data connections
• Typical environments: server racks, storage arrays, workstations
• Data rate support: designed for high-speed SAS links (per MiniSAS standards)

How to use

Connect one MiniSAS connector to the host adapter or RAID controller and the other connector to the target storage enclosure or external drive array. Ensure both devices are powered down or follow hot-swap guidelines from the device manufacturers before connecting or disconnecting to prevent data errors. Route the cable within the rack or workstation to avoid sharp bends and secure it to minimise strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid tight cable bends and protect the cable from excessive mechanical stress. Verify compatibility with your controller and enclosure interfaces and follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions for hot-plugging and handling external SAS connections.
