SFP+ Active Optical-kabel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-3M 10Gbps 3m (voor Huawei)

The SFP+ Active Optical Cable CBO SFP-AOC-10G-3M is a factory-assembled 3‑metre optical link that provides a direct 10Gbps SFP+ connection compatible with Huawei SFP+ ports. Intended for short‑reach, high‑speed interconnects, this cable integrates transceiver electronics and duplex optical fiber in a single assembly to simplify rack-to-rack and switch-to-server connections in data centre and enterprise environments.

Advantages

This AOC removes the need for separate SFP+ transceivers and fiber patch cords, reducing component count and simplifying installation. The pre-terminated assembly delivers low latency and stable 10Gbps throughput over a 3 m distance while ensuring electrical isolation and immunity to electromagnetic interference. Compatibility with Huawei SFP+ ports and a standardized SFP+ form factor allow straightforward hot-plug replacement and easy integration into existing networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Short‑reach 10Gbps interconnects between switches
• Server-to-switch connections in racks and cabinets
• Top-of-rack (ToR) links and adjacent rack connections
• Storage area network (SAN) uplinks and aggregation links

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbps full duplex
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (integrated transceiver and duplex fiber)
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector type: SFP+ plug compatible with SFP+ ports
• Reach: designed for short‑reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks
• Latency: optimized for low latency links in data centre environments

How to use

Ensure both devices have enabled SFP+ ports and are powered off or support hot‑swap insertion. Align and insert each SFP+ plug into the corresponding SFP+ port until the latch engages. Verify link status through the host device indicators or management interface. For safe removal, use the port’s release mechanism and pull the AOC straight out to avoid damaging the connector. No additional transceivers or patch cords are required, as the cable is pre‑terminated and factory tested.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short interconnect distances up to 3 metres inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and maintain bend radius per manufacturer guidance. Install in environments within the supported operating temperature and humidity ranges of the networking equipment, and confirm firmware or compatibility lists on Huawei devices if strict vendor interoperability is required.
