BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-MT-BO SFP28 actieve optische kabel 25 m, mintkleur

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-MT-BO is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m mint-coloured jacket. Designed for high-speed connections in data centres and server racks, this 25 m cable provides optical interconnectivity for devices with SFP28 ports. The cable integrates transceiver electronics to transmit and receive optical signals over multimode fiber while maintaining low latency and low power consumption. Its lightweight construction (0.15 kg) and mint colour make identification and handling easier in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This AOC offers plug-and-play connectivity for SFP28 ports without the need for separate transceiver modules. The integrated transmitter and receiver on each end ensure signal integrity for up to 25 Gbit/s over the specified distance. The mint-coloured jacket improves cable management and visual identification, and the cable’s low weight reduces strain on panels and connectors. The electrical-to-optical conversion and multimode design reduce electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links using SFP28 ports (up to 25 Gbit/s)
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in racks and data centres
• Low-latency storage and compute interconnects in enterprise environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with multimode optical link
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert the SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are securely seated and device firmware supports SFP28 AOC modules. No additional transceivers or patch cords are required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors. Power on the devices and verify link status via device LEDs or management interface.

Recommendations

Use the cable within recommended bend radius limits and keep connectors free of dust when not installed. Verify compatibility with device firmware and supported link modes before deployment. For best performance, use this AOC in short-reach multimode environments such as within racks and across adjacent equipment rows.
