BlueOptics SFP3131EU3MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 3 m LC aqua

BlueOptics SFP3131EU3MK is a 3 meter duplex fiber optic patch cord with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors and laser-optimized multimode OM3 fiber (50/125 µm) in aqua color. The cable is designed for 850 nm transmission and full-duplex InfiniBand and networking applications, and is suitable for connecting patch panels, optical transceivers and other OM3 LC ports.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode fiber offers low attenuation (3.5 dB/km) and high return loss; connectors are polished UPC by default with the option to use APC polish for improved return loss. The cable has a flame-retardant LSZH jacket to minimize smoke and eliminate halogen release in case of fire. High-quality components from established manufacturers (fiber and connector brands) and zirconia ceramic ferrules provide long service life and reliable mating performance.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for visible damage before installation. Carefully remove protective caps from LC connectors, align each LC connector with the corresponding LC port on transceivers or patch panels, and insert until it clicks. Route the cable following facility bend-radius guidelines and secure to cable management to avoid sharp bends or strain. Replace protective caps when connectors are disconnected to protect ferrules from contamination.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and verify insertion loss with test equipment when integrating into an existing link. Select UPC or APC polish according to your system’s return loss requirements and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius to maintain OM3 performance.
