BlueOptics SFP3232EU1MK InfiniBand-glasvezelkabel 1 m SC groen

The BlueOptics SFP3232EU1MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m SC Green is a single-length, duplex fibre patch cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand connections. Constructed with OM3 multimode fibre and SC connectors on both ends, this 1 metre cable provides a compact, colour-coded solution for short-range data centre and networking links where predictable bandwidth and low-latency transmission are required.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable supports full duplex transmission and is optimised for high-bandwidth, short-reach links common in server-to-switch and switch-to-switch InfiniBand topologies. The SC connectors provide reliable mechanical coupling and straightforward hot-swap replacement. The green jacket offers colour distinction for easy identification within patch panels and cabling runs, while the 1 m length minimises excess slack in dense rack environments.

How to use

Route the 1 m cable between compatible InfiniBand ports fitted with SC receptacles, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to maintain signal integrity. Align each SC connector with the port and push until it clicks into place; repeat for the opposite end. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw. When installing in patch panels or racks, avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, inspect and clean SC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation, store and handle the cable to avoid kinks, and keep run lengths within specified distances for OM3 to preserve signal quality in InfiniBand environments.
