BlueOptics SFP3232FU7.5MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 7,5 m SC

The BlueOptics SFP3232FU7.5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7.5 m SC is a multimode duplex link designed for high-speed networking environments. Built for OM4 fibre, this 7.5-metre SC–SC cable provides consistent signal integrity and low attenuation across InfiniBand connections, making it suitable for data centre interconnects and server-to-switch links.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable supports full duplex transmission and delivers stable, low-loss performance over short to medium distances. The SC connectors ensure reliable mechanical coupling and straightforward installation. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or rack-to-equipment cabling without excess slack, and the construction reduces modal dispersion for clearer high-speed signals.

How to use

Route the fibre cable carefully to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Clean the SC connector endfaces before insertion and verify orientation for duplex connections. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding port until it clicks into place, ensuring the transmit and receive channels are matched. After installation, perform optical tests or link-status checks to confirm signal integrity and correct alignment.

Recommendations

Maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum to prevent increased attenuation. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and store the cable in a dry, temperature-stable environment. For best results in high-density racks, secure the cable to cable management fixtures to reduce strain on connectors and preserve long-term link performance.
