BlueOptics SFP3333EU10MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 10 m ST aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU10MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 10 m ST Aqua is a multimode OM3 patch cable designed for high-speed networking and data centre links. With ST connectors and a 10 metre length, this cable is intended for short- to medium-range fibre connections where low loss and consistent signal quality are required. The OM3 fibre core diameter measures 125 µm and the aqua jacket colour identifies it for 10 Gigabit-class multimode applications.

Advantages

This OM3 InfiniBand cable provides low attenuation and stable insertion loss characteristics appropriate for 10 Gbps and compatible multimode systems. ST connectors ensure reliable mechanical performance in environments where bayonet-style locking is preferred. The 10 m length balances reach and manageability, reducing the need for extra patching and limiting signal reflections. The aqua jacket and industry-standard multimode construction simplify identification and installation within structured cabling infrastructures.

How to use

Route the BlueOptics OM3 cable between the two equipment ports ensuring both ends are securely mated with ST connectors. Align the bayonet fittings, insert and twist to lock the connectors in place. Avoid tight bends, kinks or excessive tension along the cable run; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Clean connector end-faces before installation to reduce insertion loss and verify link status following connection using appropriate network diagnostics.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and use dust caps when ports are not connected. For best link performance, use this OM3 cable for multimode systems up to the distance limits specified by your equipment for 10 Gbps or InfiniBand links, and perform periodic inspection of connector end-faces.
