BlueOptics SFP3333EU20MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 20 m ST aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU20MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 20 m ST Aqua is a multicore OM3 cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network environments. With ST connectors on both ends and a 20-metre length, the cable supports InfiniBand links and short- to medium-reach optical connections. The fibre uses a 125 µm core diameter and an aqua jacket colour that helps identify it as OM3 multimode fibre in rack and cabling installations.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode fibre cable provides predictable performance for InfiniBand and other high-bandwidth applications. The ST connector design ensures reliable mechanical coupling in legacy and industrial environments. A 20 m length offers flexibility for structured cabling runs between racks, switches and transceivers while the aqua jacket simplifies identification and management in data centre cabling. The 125 µm core is standard for multimode fibres and supports industry-typical transceiver interfaces.

How to use

Connect the ST connectors to compatible ST ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels, ensuring correct alignment of the bayonet-style connector. Route the 20 m cable through cable management channels or trays to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibres. Verify link status on connected devices and, if necessary, perform optical inspection and cleaning of connector endfaces before final installation to maintain optimal signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the cable for indoor structured cabling in controlled environments. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, excessive moisture or physical strain. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating and store unused ends with dust caps to prevent contamination.
