BlueOptics SFP3333EU50MK InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 50 m ST aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU50MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 50 m ST Aqua is a multimode OM3 cable designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission over short to medium distances. With ST connectors and aqua jacket color indicating OM3 performance, this 50 meter cable is intended for use in data centres, server rooms and network closets where reliable optical links are required between InfiniBand devices and compatible transceivers.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre offers low attenuation and modal bandwidth optimized for 10G and higher data rates in short-range network segments, supporting full-duplex communication. The ST connector design ensures secure push-and-twist connections in equipment that accepts bayonet-style ferrules. The 50 m length balances flexibility and signal integrity for organized cable runs, while the aqua jacket provides easy visual identification of multimode OM3 cabling.

How to use

Inspect both ST connectors for cleanliness and ensure ferrules are free of dust before installation. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Insert each ST connector into the corresponding port and perform the twist-lock action until secured. After connection, verify link status through the connected devices and run optical power or continuity tests if required to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep connectors capped when not in use and clean with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools. Use this OM3 cable for short- to medium-length high-speed links and pair it with InfiniBand-compatible transceivers and ports rated for multimode operation. Avoid excessive bending and mechanical stress during installation and maintenance.
