BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP28-30M-BO InfiniBand glasvezelkabel 30m SFP28 stekker

The BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP28-30M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 30-metre active optical cable with SFP28 male connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed links in data centres and high-performance computing environments, this cable supports 25G data rates over multimode fibre and follows SFP28/MSA form-factor compatibility for direct connection between SFP28 ports.

Advantages

This active optical cable integrates transceivers on both ends to convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth connections across a 30 m distance without separate transceiver modules. Built to industry form-factor standards, it provides plug-and-play interoperability with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOC assemblies and reduces cable bulk compared with equivalent copper solutions. The multimode optical link supports typical high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand workflows while maintaining signal integrity over the specified distance.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on host devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and the intended 25G protocol (for example 25G Ethernet or compatible InfiniBand profiles). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive compression; maintain the specified minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to preserve signal performance. If equipment requires link configuration, set port parameters according to device documentation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify compatibility with your switch, router or storage platform and test the link at installation. Avoid running the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and protect connectors from dust when not in use.
