Boorhamer Metabo KH 18 LTX BL 24

The Metabo KH 18 LTX BL 24 is a cordless perforator designed for demanding drilling and chiselling tasks in masonry and concrete. Equipped with a brushless motor, this 18 V tool provides efficient power delivery and a compact form factor. It offers a maximum drilling diameter in concrete of 24 mm, a rated speed of 1,280 rpm and an impact energy of 2.2 J, while weighing approximately 2.7 kg. Two LiHD batteries are supplied to extend runtime and reduce interruptions on the job.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed designs. The combination of 2.2 J impact energy and a 1,280 rpm rated speed gives consistent performance for drilling and light chiselling in concrete and masonry. At about 2.7 kg, the tool balances power and portability to reduce operator fatigue. Delivery with two rechargeable 18 V LiHD batteries ensures longer continuous operation without frequent recharging.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete and masonry up to 24 mm diameter
• Light chiselling and demolition work
• Installation work for anchors, dowels and conduit
• Mobile or site work where cordless operation is required

How to use

Choose an appropriate drill bit or chisel for the material and secure it in the tool's SDS-plus chuck following the manufacturer's instructions. Insert a fully charged 18 V LiHD battery and set the required drilling or chiselling mode. For drilling in concrete, start at low speed to position the bit, then increase speed to the rated rpm and apply steady pressure without forcing the tool. For chiselling, select the hammer or chisel mode and maintain control of the tool using the auxiliary handle. After use, remove the battery and store the tool and batteries in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and dust extraction or a dust mask when working with masonry or concrete. Select appropriate drill bits for the required diameter and material hardness, and follow safe battery handling and charging procedures to maintain battery life and tool performance.
