Bosch 2609256989 is a 19-piece drill bit set designed for general-purpose drilling in concrete, metal and wood. The bits feature a stainless-steel colour finish and are supplied in a blister pack that keeps the assortment visible and easy to access. The set includes a range of common diameters to cover everyday tasks in construction, renovation and workshop environments, allowing the user to switch quickly between materials without changing tool types.

Advantages

The set offers a compact selection of frequently used drill diameters in one blister pack for simple storage and transport. Bits are finished in stainless-steel colour for corrosion resistance and a consistent appearance. The assortment supports drilling in mixed materials — concrete, metal and wood — which reduces the need to carry separate dedicated sets for each material. The clear blister packaging allows quick visual identification of sizes and helps keep bits organised during work.

Key specifications

How to use

Select a drill bit size appropriate to the fastener or hole diameter needed, secure the bit in the drill chuck and tighten according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. For concrete, use a hammer-drill mode if available and apply steady pressure while clearing dust from the hole periodically. For metal, use appropriate speed settings and cutting fluid as required; secure the workpiece and peck-drill on deep holes to evacuate chips. For wood, use moderate speed and feed, and back out chips to prevent clogging. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection.

Recommendations

Match drill speed and feed to the material: lower speeds and cutting fluid for metal, higher speeds for wood, and hammer mode for concrete when applicable. Inspect bits for wear before use and replace damaged bits to maintain drilling accuracy and safety. Store the set in its blister pack in a dry place to avoid corrosion and ensure organised access to sizes.
