Borenset DeWALT DT5545-QZ 10 stuks diameter 4,5 mm lengte 80 mm

The DeWALT DT5545-QZ 10-piece drill bit set contains ten high-precision 4.5 mm diameter, 80 mm length bits designed for accurate drilling tasks. Manufactured to DeWalt quality standards, the set is intended for use in a variety of materials where a medium-diameter, extended-reach bit is required. Each bit is balanced for straight drilling and consistent hole size to support both professional trades and home improvement projects.

Advantages

These drill bits provide consistent cutting performance and dimensional accuracy for repeatable results. The 80 mm length gives additional reach compared with standard short bits, reducing the need to change to extension accessories for medium-depth holes. The set format supplies multiple matching bits to replace worn items during ongoing work, and the uniform 4.5 mm diameter suits tasks that require a specific hole size for fasteners, dowels, or pilot holes.

Suitable for

• Drilling pilot holes in wood and composite materials
• Creating holes for small-diameter fasteners and dowels
• Workshop and on-site tasks requiring repeatable 4.5 mm holes
• DIY furniture assembly and general repair work

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 10
• Cutting diameter: 4.5 mm
• Overall length: 80 mm
• Intended use: general-purpose drilling across common construction materials

How to use

Select a compatible drill or driver that accepts the bit shank and secure the bit in the chuck according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the drilling position, use appropriate clamping or support to stabilize the workpiece, and start drilling at low speed to establish the center. Increase speed as needed while maintaining steady pressure and cooling pauses for prolonged drilling. Withdraw the bit intermittently to clear chips and reduce heat buildup, especially when working in dense materials.

Recommendations

Use cutting lubricant or reduced feed rates when drilling in hard or abrasive materials, and replace worn bits to maintain hole accuracy. Store the set in a dry place to prevent corrosion and inspect bits before use for damage or dullness to ensure safe and effective operation.
