Borstelpaneel Equip 10 inch lichtgrijs staal 1U

The Equip 10" Brush Panel, 1U, in light grey steel is a rack accessory designed to improve cable routing and protect equipment in a server rack or data center. Fitting a 1U rack space, the panel contains a dense strip of flexible nylon bristles that allow cables to pass through while limiting the entry of dust and debris. Constructed from durable steel with a light grey finish, this 10" panel offers steady performance and a neutral appearance that integrates with standard rack equipment.

Advantages

The steel construction provides mechanical strength and resistance to deformation, while the nylon bristles reduce dust ingress and help prevent cable chafing. Its 1U form factor saves rack space and provides a clean visual transition between mounted devices. The light grey finish matches many professional rack environments and contributes to consistent rack aesthetics.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centres for cable entry and exit management
• Network cabinets and closets where dust protection is required
• Rack installations seeking a compact 1U cable management solution

How to use

Install the brush panel into a free 1U space in the rack using standard 19" mounting points. Route cables through the bristle opening; the flexible bristles will part to allow cables to pass and then close around them to limit dust and maintain a neater appearance. Position the panel where cable bundles enter or leave the rack to maximize dust protection and cable support.

Recommendations

For best results, group cables into bundles before passing them through the bristles to reduce strain on individual cables and to maintain a tidy layout. Periodically inspect and remove accumulated debris from the bristle area and avoid forcing oversized connectors through the brush to prevent bristle damage.
