Bosch 2 608 599 049 boorkroon diamantboor 1 stuk

PRO Ceramic dry for Long Life Drilling through Hard and Soft Ceramic Tiles. The Bosch 2 608 599 049 is a 6 mm diamond drill bit designed for precision drilling in hard and soft ceramic tiles and other hard materials. The bit uses high-quality diamond grit in a metal matrix and includes cooling wax so water is not required for cooling, providing longer life and consistent performance during repeated tile drilling tasks.

Advantages

The diamond grit in a metal matrix provides improved wear resistance and consistent cutting performance on both hard and soft ceramic tiles. Cooling wax reduces the need for external coolant, helping to maintain cutting efficiency and prolong tool life. The 6 mm diameter offers precise, clean holes for fixtures and fittings, and the single-bit packaging in a hanging box makes storage and handling convenient.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in hard ceramic tiles
• Drilling holes in soft ceramic tiles
• Creating precise 6 mm holes for fixtures, anchors and fittings
• Use in handheld drills and drill presses for tile work

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): 2608599049
• EAN: 6949509232953
• Diameter: 6 mm
• Type: Diamond drill bit for ceramic tiles
• Cooling: Integrated cooling wax (dry use)
• Packaging: Single bit in hanging box

How to use

Secure the 6 mm diamond drill bit in a suitable drill according to the drill manufacturer's instructions. Mark the drilling point on the tile and start at low speed to establish a guide. Apply light, steady pressure and maintain a steady drilling speed; the diamond grit will cut the ceramic while the cooling wax helps protect the bit without additional water. Increase speed moderately once the guide is established, but avoid excessive force which may crack tiles. Clean the bit after use to remove tile dust and store it in the hanging box.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves) and ensure the tile is supported to reduce vibration. For best results on very hard or very thick tiles, consider intermittent drilling to avoid overheating and check manufacturer's guidance for compatible drill speeds.
