Bosch 2 608 900 449 gatenzaag 1 stuk

The Bosch 2 608 900 449 hole saw is a versatile drilling accessory designed for clean, precise cutting in a variety of materials including brick, plastic, stainless steel, tile and wood. With a diameter of 5.1 cm it is supplied as a single hole saw plus adapter and is built to resist damage when encountering embedded metal such as nails or screws thanks to its carbide teeth, allowing continued use on mixed-material jobs.

Advantages

Carbide-tipped teeth reduce the risk of tooth damage and maintain cutting performance when meeting metal inclusions. The design produces neat, consistent holes in different materials and the supplied adapter enables quick mounting on compatible drills. The 5.1 cm diameter covers common installation needs for pipes, conduits and fittings.

Suitable for

• Drilling clean holes in brick and concrete blocks
• Cutting openings in plastic and PVC panels
• Making holes in stainless steel and other sheet metals
• Creating openings in ceramic tiles and wood
• Professional and DIY installations for pipes, cables and fixtures

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 2 608 900 449
• EAN: 4059952535951
• Diameter: 5.1 cm

How to use

Secure the adapter in the drill chuck and attach the hole saw. Mark the centre of the hole, start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed while applying steady, moderate pressure. For tiles and brittle materials use a backing support and moderate speed to avoid cracking. When cutting metal, keep the workpiece clamped and use cutting fluid if appropriate to reduce heat and prolong tooth life.

Recommendations

Check drill compatibility with the provided adapter before use. Inspect the hole saw for wear after cutting abrasive materials or metals and replace if teeth are damaged. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves while drilling.
