Bosch GHG 18V-50 heteluchtblazer 175 l/min 500 °C zwart, blauw

The Bosch GHG 18V-50 hot air gun delivers a concentrated stream of hot air with a maximum flow of 175 l/min and an adjustable working temperature range from 300 °C to 500 °C. Designed for battery-powered applications on an 18 V supply, this compact tool combines a focused heat output with a small footprint — 183 mm wide, 77 mm deep and 209 mm high — and weighs approximately 0.59 kg. The device is finished in black and blue, offering a handheld form factor that is easy to maneuver for short-duration tasks where a reliable hot air source is required.

Advantages

The hot air gun provides rapid heating up to 500 °C while maintaining control over airflow at up to 175 l/min, enabling efficient heat transfer for multiple working methods. Its compact dimensions and low weight make it more portable than larger, mains-powered units, and the battery-compatible 18 V design allows use in locations without direct AC power. The nozzle delivers concentrated hot air for precise work, and the build conforms to a standard handheld format for straightforward handling and storage.

Suitable for

• Heat shrinking tubing and connectors
• Paint and varnish softening for removal
• Loosening adhesives and softening sealants
• Plastic forming, bending or shaping small components
• Electronic repair tasks requiring controlled local heating

How to use

Ensure the heat gun is fitted with a suitable nozzle for the intended task and confirm the battery or power source is compatible and fully charged before starting. Select the appropriate temperature within the 300–500 °C range and set the desired airflow. Hold the tool at a safe distance from the workpiece and move it steadily to apply heat evenly; avoid concentrating heat in a single spot for prolonged periods to prevent overheating or damage. After use, allow the tool to cool down before storing and disconnect the battery if applicable.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment, such as heat-resistant gloves and eye protection, and work in a well-ventilated area. Keep flammable materials clear of the work zone and test on a small area first when working with painted surfaces or sensitive components to determine the correct temperature and distance.
