Bosch GLM 50-27 CG Professional laserafstandsmeter zwart, blauw 50 m

The Bosch GLM 50-27 CG Professional laser distance meter measures up to 50 m with a green 515 nm laser for improved spot visibility in bright indoor conditions. It combines an IP65-rated housing with a shock-absorbing rubber casing to resist dust, water jets and survive 1.5 m drops onto hard concrete. Bluetooth® connectivity and the Bosch MeasureOn App enable fast documentation and transfer of measuring results. The device supports multiple units (mm, cm, m, in, ft), operates on AA batteries and features auto power-off after 5 minutes to save energy.

Advantages

The green laser spot provides better visibility than red lasers at long distances and in well-lit interiors. Robust construction with IP65 protection and rubber shock protection increases durability on rough jobsites. Bluetooth® and the MeasureOn App speed up documentation and data transfer. Sound and vibration feedback confirm successful measurements, and battery runtime is improved compared with the predecessor model.

Suitable for

• Distance and area measurements for architects and builders
• Material calculations and room planning for electricians
• Interior fitting, placing elements and on-site documentation
• Quick transfer of measurement data to mobile devices via Bluetooth®

How to use

Switch on the device and select the required measurement unit. Aim the green laser spot at the target surface and press the measurement button; use the display and feedback (sound/vibration) to confirm a successful reading. For repeated area or indirect measurements use the appropriate function on the device, then pair the meter with a smartphone via Bluetooth® to transfer results to the Bosch MeasureOn App for documentation.

Recommendations

Use the GLM 50-27 CG Professional primarily indoors or in well-lit environments where the green laser offers superior visibility. Protect the device from prolonged exposure to heavy rain despite its IP65 rating, and replace AA batteries before extended measuring tasks to ensure consistent performance.
