Bosch GTB 18V-45 Professional 4500 RPM zwart, blauw

The Bosch GTB 18V-45 Professional is a compact power screwdriver with a pistol-handle design that balances control and accessibility for assembly and repair tasks. It delivers a maximum no-load speed of 4500 RPM and a soft-application torque of 32 N·m. The tool is battery powered (18 V Lithium-Ion) and supplied with two batteries to reduce downtime. Its small footprint (approximately 56 mm width, 261 mm depth, 193 mm height) and a weight of about 0.95 kg make it convenient for overhead and confined-space work. The unit includes a reversible gearbox and an integrated work light to improve visibility in low-light conditions.

Advantages

The pistol-handle shape provides ergonomic grip and improved control during repetitive fastening operations. High idle speed up to 4500 RPM allows rapid driving of fasteners in soft materials, while the 32 N·m torque setting supports light to medium fastening tasks without excessive bulk. Battery operation with two included packs ensures extended runtime and quick battery swap. The built-in light enhances precision in dim environments, and the compact dimensions make storage and transport easier.

Suitable for

• Assembly and installation of furniture and cabinets
• Light construction fastening in wood, drywall and plastics
• Maintenance and repair tasks requiring compact, handheld fastening
• Work in confined spaces or overhead where a compact tool and integrated light are beneficial

How to use

Charge the supplied 18 V Lithium‑Ion batteries before first use and insert a charged battery into the tool according to the user manual. Select the appropriate screwdriver bit and securely tighten it in the chuck or bit holder. Use the reverse switch to change rotation direction as needed for driving or removing fasteners. For consistent results, set a steady hand and engage the trigger gradually; the integrated work light can be used to illuminate the work area. Swap batteries when power decreases to maintain performance and allow depleted packs to cool and recharge.

Recommendations

For best results, use sharp, compatible screwdriver bits and select fasteners suitable for the material. When working on delicate surfaces, test torque and speed on a scrap piece first to avoid overdriving. Store batteries separately from the tool if not used for prolonged periods and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for charging and maintenance to extend battery life.
