Why choose it

The two-flute geometry allows faster feed rates while still producing a clean cut, as chips are efficiently evacuated from the cutting zone. The pilot ball bearing follows the template or the already-cut edge precisely, giving you a consistent profile without the need for a fence. Bosch's Expert for Wood range uses high-quality carbide and is engineered for longevity, so you can rely on it for professional results even after extensive use.

Ideal use cases

• Rounding over square-edged boards for decorative furniture and cabinets
• Softening sharp edges on worktops, shelves, doors, and frames
• Creating classic rounded profiles on stair treads, handrails, and window sills
• Edge profiling on hardwood, softwood, MDF, plywood, and wood composites

Good to know

This router bit meets DIN EN-847 safety requirements for woodworking tools. Always disconnect the router from the power supply when changing bits. Match the router's spindle speed to the material and bit size—a slower speed for larger diameters reduces the risk of burning. For repeated cuts, use a guide bush or make multiple shallow passes to remove material gradually.
