Bosch PSA 700 E 2700 spm 710 W zwart, groen

The Bosch PSA 700 E jigsaw is a corded power saw designed for straight and curved cuts in wood and similar materials. It is equipped with a 710 W motor and a 20 mm stroke length, providing a balance of cutting speed and control. With a maximum idle stroke rate of 2700 spm and a maximum cutting depth in wood of 150 mm, the tool targets workshop and site tasks where continuous power and repeatable performance are needed. The unit's overall weight of approximately 3 kg and a measured vibration emission of 15.5 m/s² contribute to manageable handling during extended cutting operations.

Advantages

The jigsaw's 710 W motor delivers consistent cutting performance at varying loads while the 2700 spm maximum stroke rate supports efficient material removal. The 20 mm stroke length allows for robust cutting action without sacrificing control. The tool's relatively low weight improves manoeuvrability and reduces user fatigue during longer jobs. Measured vibration emission values enable users to assess ergonomics and choose appropriate protective measures. As a corded model, it provides uninterrupted operation suitable for continuous work sessions.

How to use

Ensure the jigsaw is connected to a properly rated mains outlet and check that the blade is suitable for the material and securely fastened before switching on. Mark the cut line on the workpiece and secure the material to a stable surface or workbench to prevent movement. Start the tool at a low speed if the unit has a speed control, and gradually increase to the required stroke rate for the material being cut. Guide the jigsaw steadily along the cut line without forcing the blade; let the motor and blade do the work to maintain accuracy and extend blade life. After completing the cut, switch off the tool and wait for the blade to stop before removing the workpiece or changing the blade.

Recommendations

Use blades recommended for wood or composite boards with appropriate tooth geometry and diameter for the required finish. Wear eye and hearing protection and use dust extraction or respiratory protection when cutting materials that produce fine dust. For prolonged use, plan short breaks and maintain a secure grip to reduce vibration exposure; consult the tool's instruction manual for detailed maintenance and safety procedures.
