Bosch Serie 4 PNP6B6K40 kookplaat zwart inbouw 60 cm gas 4 zone(s)

The Bosch Serie 4 PNP6B6K40 is a 60 cm built-in gas hob with four cooking zones and a black tempered glass surface. Designed for front rotary controls with one-hand electronic ignition and flame failure device, it delivers a total gas load of 7500 W and fits an installation compartment of 560 x 480 x 45 mm.

Advantages

Ergonomic sword dials with a raised centre provide secure grip and precise adjustments even in demanding conditions. The tempered glass top combines strength and a sleek appearance while withstanding the weight of heavy pans. Semi-continuous pan supports are smaller and easier to handle yet form a continuous surface on the hob. Pan supports are dishwasher-safe and optimised to resist corrosion, cracks and discolouration. An integrated flame gas cut-off (flame failure device) automatically stops gas supply if a flame goes out. The hob is compatible with biomethane as an alternative to natural gas.

Suitable for

• Domestic kitchens requiring a 60 cm built-in gas hob
• Users who prefer rotary controls with one-hand electronic ignition
• Cooking with heavy pots and pans on a durable tempered glass surface
• Households that need easy-to-clean pan supports and dishwasher-safe parts

How to use

Install the hob into a compatible cut-out (560 x 480 x 45 mm) following the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Connect the gas supply according to local regulations and ensure correct sealing and pressure settings. To ignite a burner, press and turn the corresponding rotary control to the ignition position; adjust flame size with the same control. If a flame goes out, the flame failure device cuts off the gas supply automatically; relight only after checking for safety and gas presence. Clean the tempered glass surface with non-abrasive cleaners and remove pan supports for dishwasher cleaning when required.

Recommendations

Use cookware with flat bases for best contact with the pan supports and temper the glass by avoiding sudden temperature shocks (do not place very cold pans on a very hot surface). Regularly check gas connections during installation and service. Follow local gas safety rules and Bosch user manual for maintenance and safe operation.
