Braadpan Salter BW10691BRMFOB 20 cm Megastone met Thermo Collar

From the Salter Megastone Thermo Collar Collection, the Salter BW10691BRMFOB is a 20 cm frying pan with a Thermo Collar heat indicator. The pan features a durable megastone non-stick coating on forged aluminium for easy frying and cleaning, and is designed to reach and indicate the optimum cooking temperature.

Advantages

The Megastone coating is more resistant to scratches and corrosion than standard non-stick surfaces, and the Thermo Collar changes colour when the pan reaches the ideal temperature to help achieve consistent results. The pan is compatible with all hob types including induction, has a soft-touch handle for a comfortable grip, and is 100% PFOA free to avoid release of harmful chemicals during cooking.

How to use

Place the frying pan on a suitable hob and preheat it. When the Thermo Collar turns red, the pan has reached the recommended cooking temperature and you can add oil or ingredients. Cook as required, using utensils suitable for non-stick surfaces if you prefer to prolong the coating life; the pan also tolerates metal utensils. After cooking, allow the pan to cool before cleaning according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

Recommendations

To extend the life of the Megastone non-stick coating, avoid prolonged high-heat dry heating and follow the care instructions. Although metal utensils are tolerated, using silicone or wooden utensils will help maintain the coating longer. The Thermo Collar helps reduce excess oil by indicating the correct frying temperature.
