BRADY M4-17-595 PermaSleeve krimpkous-kabelmarker, 38,1 mm breed, 10-4 AWG, zwart op wit, 2,44 m rol

Wire and cable identification in harsh environments demands labels that stay legible and intact despite abrasion, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. The BRADY M4-17-595 PermaSleeve Heat-Shrink Wire Marker Sleeve provides a durable, professional solution for labeling larger gauge wires and cables. This roll of white polyolefin sleeves is designed for thermal transfer printing, producing crisp, black text that remains clear after shrinking. With a 3:1 shrink ratio, the sleeves conform tightly to wires from 10 to 4 AWG, ensuring a permanent, non-adhesive fit that resists smudging, fading, and peeling.

Who is it for

This marker sleeve is ideal for electricians, panel builders, network technicians, and maintenance professionals who need reliable identification for power cables, control wiring, and industrial harnesses. It is especially suited for applications where labels are exposed to fuels, oils, UV light, and temperature extremes, such as in automotive, aerospace, marine, and heavy equipment environments.

Main features

• Heat-shrink polyolefin material with a 3:1 shrink ratio for a tight, permanent fit on wires 10-4 AWG (5.21 - 21.15 mm²).
• Black print on white background offers high contrast for easy readability, even in low-light conditions.
• Compatible with BRADY BMP41, BMP51, BMP53, M410, M510, and M511 thermal transfer label printers.
• Resistant to abrasion, chemicals, fuel/oil, UV, and weather, ensuring long-term legibility.
• Operating temperature range from -55°C to 135°C (-67°F to 275°F) after shrinking.
• RoHS compliant, UL recognized, and CSA certified for safety and quality assurance.
• Roll length of 2.44 m (8 ft) provides ample material for multiple labeling jobs.
• Flattened sleeve width of 38.1 mm (1.5 inches) accommodates larger diameter wires and cables.

Tips

For best results, use a BRADY thermal transfer printer with the appropriate ribbon. Ensure the wire is clean and dry before applying the sleeve. After printing, slide the sleeve over the wire and apply heat evenly using a heat gun until it conforms snugly. Allow the sleeve to cool before handling. Store unused sleeves in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain material integrity.
