Braun XT5200 zwart, zilver nikkel-metaalhydride (NiMH)

The Braun XT5200 trimmer combines a compact rectangular design with a built-in Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery to provide cordless grooming for face and beard. Finished in black and silver, the device supports precise trimming from 1 mm minimum to 5 mm maximum hair length and delivers up to 45 minutes of continuous operation on a single charge. The form factor and weight distribution are intended to improve handling and control during routine grooming sessions.

Advantages

The trimmer's NiMH rechargeable power source ensures repeated cordless use without the need for disposable batteries. A minimum cutting length of 1 mm enables detailed edge work and short styling while the 5 mm maximum length covers light trimming needs. Its rectangular shape and compact dimensions make the device easy to manoeuvre across facial contours, and the two-tone black and silver finish provides a neutral appearance that fits most grooming kits. The device is specified for face and beard use and is suitable for whole-body trimming according to its design.

How to use

Charge the trimmer fully before first use following the manufacturer’s included charging instructions. For trimming, switch the device on and move it gently against the direction of hair growth for a uniform cut, using the shortest setting to achieve a 1 mm length and the longer setting up to 5 mm as required. Maintain a steady hand and use light pressure; for precision edges, work slowly and trim small areas incrementally. After use, turn the device off and clean blades according to the maintenance instructions supplied with the product.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure hair is dry and free of styling products before trimming. Regularly clean and oil the blades if recommended by the manufacturer, and recharge the trimmer after each use to keep the NiMH battery in good condition. Use the device on small sections when shaping precise lines and perform routine blade maintenance to preserve cutting performance.
