Brother DR-3000 trommel origineel

The Original Drum Brother DR-3000 is a replacement drum unit designed for compatible Brother laser printers including HL-5130, HL-5140, HL-5150D, HL-5170DN, MFC-8220, MFC-8440, MFC-8840D(N), DCP-8040 and DCP-8045D. It delivers consistent image transfer and is specified for a page yield of up to 20,000 pages, with black output and a black-coloured unit that integrates with the printer’s imaging system to maintain print quality and reliability.

Advantages

The Brother DR-3000 drum unit is an original manufacturer part engineered for compatibility and stable operation with the listed Brother printer models. It provides a high page yield of up to 20,000 pages, supports black printing, and helps preserve consistent print density and image sharpness over extended print runs. Using an original drum unit reduces the risk of print defects and mechanical issues compared with non-original alternatives.

Suitable for

• High-volume black-and-white office printing
• Replacing a worn or end-of-life drum in compatible Brother printers
• Maintaining consistent print quality in shared or networked printer environments

How to use

Turn off the printer and open the front cover according to the printer’s user manual. Remove the used drum unit by pulling it straight out, and unpack the new Brother DR-3000. Insert the replacement drum unit into the printer until it clicks into place, then close the front cover and turn the printer back on. Follow any on-screen instructions to reset the drum counter if required by the printer model.

Recommendations

Store the drum unit in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Replace the drum when print density decreases or the printer indicates the drum life has ended. For best results, pair the DR-3000 with compatible Brother toner cartridges and follow the printer manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines.
