Buiten bewegingssensorbuitenlamp Varta 16634101421 — op batterijen, 3×AAA, weerbestendig

Varta Outdoor Motion Sensor Light model 16634101421 is a battery-powered outdoor luminaire with an integrated passive infrared motion detector. Designed for mounting on exterior walls, the unit runs on three AAA batteries (3×AAA) and provides automatic illumination when movement is detected near entrances, pathways or porches. The housing is made to withstand outdoor conditions and the compact design allows installation in residential and light-commercial settings where hands-free lighting is required.

Advantages

The motion-activated operation conserves battery energy by switching the lamp on only when motion is present. Battery power (3×AAA) eliminates the need for mains wiring and simplifies installation. The detector-enabled design enhances safety and convenience by providing immediate light on approach, while the weather-resistant construction supports outdoor use without requiring frequent relocation or indoor protection.

Suitable for

• Illuminating entrance doors and porches
• Lighting short pathways and steps
• Providing temporary light for garages, sheds and outdoor storage areas
• Hands-free lighting for late-night arrivals

Key specifications

• Power source: battery-operated (3×AAA cells)
• Detection: integrated motion sensor (PIR)
• Intended installation location: exterior wall mounting
• Environmental resistance: designed for outdoor use / weather-resistant construction
• Application areas: entrances, pathways, porches, small outdoor structures

How to use

Install three fresh AAA batteries into the compartment following the polarity markings. Mount the unit on a suitable exterior wall at the recommended height for optimal motion detection, ensuring the detector has a clear field of view and is not obstructed by vegetation or objects. Once powered, the lamp will remain in standby and activate automatically when motion is detected within its sensor range. Replace batteries when illumination becomes dim or response time decreases.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable AAA cells and position the unit away from direct heat sources, air vents or areas with frequent non-target motion (such as busy roads). Periodically check seals and mounting hardware to maintain weather resistance and test the sensor after battery replacement.
