Buitenwandcontactdoos Bosch NDA-U-CBB 148mm IP66-gecertificeerd

The Bosch NDA-U-CBB 148mm IP66 outdoor conduit back box is a weatherproof mounting enclosure designed to house camera connections and conduit entries for outdoor installations. With a 148 mm diameter and an IP66 rating, the box provides dust-tight protection and strong resistance to powerful water jets, enabling secure and tidy cable management for wall- or pole-mounted surveillance equipment and other outdoor electrical devices.

Advantages

This outdoor conduit back box features a robust design that maintains ingress protection in demanding environments while allowing organized conduit entry. The circular 148 mm form factor accommodates common camera housings and junction components, and the IP66 rating ensures protection against dust and heavy water exposure. The enclosure simplifies installation by providing a single, durable point for conduit connections and cable routing, reducing the need for on-site waterproofing work.

Suitable for

• Outdoor surveillance camera installations on walls and poles
• Weatherproof conduit entries for external electrical or data cabling
• Sites requiring neat cable routing and protection from dust and water
• Retrofit projects where a compact, circular back box is needed

Key specifications

• Diameter: 148 mm
• Ingress protection: IP66 (dust-tight; protection against powerful water jets)
• Application: outdoor conduit and camera junction box
• Mounting: wall or pole mounting compatible
• Material properties: corrosion-resistant housing suitable for external use

How to use

Mount the back box to a suitable flat surface or pole using appropriate fasteners and, if required, pole-mount adapters. Route conduit and cables through the provided entry points and secure conduit fittings to maintain the IP66 seal. Install the camera or device so that its junctions sit within the enclosure, make the electrical and data connections, then close and seal the cover according to the manufacturer's guidance to preserve weatherproofing.

Recommendations

Ensure correct selection of mounting hardware and conduit fittings rated for outdoor use to maintain the enclosure's IP66 performance. Inspect sealing surfaces and gaskets before installation and periodically check for damage or loosening after severe weather events. For installations in corrosive environments, choose compatible fasteners and corrosion-resistant accessories.
