Bulletcamera Ajax BulletCam 5MP 4mm – 5 MP resolutie, 4 mm objectief

Ajax BulletCam 5MP 4mm is a bullet-style surveillance camera that captures video at 5 megapixel resolution with a fixed 4 mm lens. The camera is designed for integration with compatible Ajax security systems and for standalone use within wired video setups. Its imaging performance provides clearer detail than typical HD cameras, making it suitable for monitoring access points, perimeters, building exteriors and interiors where higher resolution supports identification and evidence recording.

Advantages

The camera delivers 5 MP resolution for improved image clarity and more accurate detail capture compared with lower-resolution models. A fixed 4 mm lens offers a practical balance between field of view and subject detail, allowing reliable recognition at moderate distances. Its bullet form factor simplifies directed installation and mounting for outdoor or indoor use, and the design is oriented toward consistent day/night video monitoring when combined with appropriate lighting and recording equipment.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter and entrance surveillance
• Indoor monitoring of lobbies, corridors, and retail spaces
• Integration with Ajax security systems and wired NVR solutions
• Evidence capture where higher image detail is required

Key specifications

• Optical resolution: 5 megapixels
• Lens focal length: 4 mm fixed lens
• Camera type: bullet-style housing for directional mounting
• Recommended installation: wall or ceiling mount for targeted coverage
• Suitable environments: indoor and outdoor installations when mounted with appropriate protection

How to use

Mount the BulletCam securely to a stable surface at the intended viewing angle, ensuring the camera view covers target areas such as entrances or perimeters. Connect the camera to compatible recording or monitoring equipment according to the integration requirements of the Ajax security system or the chosen wired video recorder. Adjust the camera position and focus if necessary to optimize the field of view for recognition at the expected monitoring distance. Ensure power and network connections meet the specifications of the connected system.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the camera at an appropriate height and angle to avoid glare and obstructions, and use supplemental lighting for night-time identification. Regularly check lens cleanliness and secure mounting, and configure recording settings in the connected Ajax system or NVR to match desired frame rate and retention policies.
