Opbouw-accessoirebehuizing voor schakelaars, busch jaeger 1701-914, Busch-balance SI alpinweiss

Surface-mounted accessory housing by busch jaeger, model 1701-914 for the Busch‑balance SI series in Alpinweiß is designed to provide a tidy, reliable enclosure for switches and control modules where flush mounting is not possible. The housing matches the visual style and dimensions of Busch‑balance SI products and offers a secure mounting option for surface installations in residential and commercial interiors. Its Alpinweiß finish provides a neutral, clean appearance that integrates with common wall colours and interior fittings.

Advantages

The surface-mounted housing gives a consistent appearance with other Busch‑balance SI devices while allowing quick surface installation without the need to recess into a wall. It protects electrical components from dust and incidental contact and supports standard switch and module footprints used in the Busch‑balance SI range. The Alpinweiß colour reduces visual contrast on light-coloured surfaces and the housing’s form factor facilitates simple wiring and fastening during installation.

How to use

Position the surface-mounted housing on the intended wall or panel surface and mark fastening points. Run the supply and control wiring to the housing location and secure the housing with appropriate screws or anchors for the wall material. Insert the compatible Busch‑balance SI switch or module into the housing, making sure connectors and terminals are accessible for wiring. Connect conductors following applicable wiring practices and safety standards, then mount the module firmly and attach the cover plate to complete the installation. Verify mechanical stability and restore power to test functionality.

Recommendations

Use the housing with Busch‑balance SI series modules to ensure fit and functionality. Select mounting anchors appropriate for the wall substrate, ensure all wiring complies with local electrical regulations, and disconnect power before beginning installation. For damp or outdoor locations, consider additional protection or suitable enclosures designed for those conditions.
