Cambium Networks 60-GHz-cnWave-V1000-client-radio bridge

Unlike conventional 5 GHz wireless bridges, the cnWave V1000 Client operates in the unlicensed 60 GHz V-band, where wide channels and low interference enable fiber-like speeds over short distances. Built on Terragraph technology, this compact node delivers up to 1 Gbps aggregate throughput with sub-millisecond latency, making it ideal for fixed wireless access, smart city backhaul, and enterprise connectivity where trenching fiber is impractical.

Highlights

• 60 GHz V-band operation (57–66 GHz) with electronic beamforming for automatic link alignment
• Integrated 17 dBi phased array antenna—no external antenna or precise mechanical aiming required
• Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3af/at PoE input for flexible deployment
• IP66 weatherproof enclosure and wide operating temperature range for outdoor use
• 128-bit AES encryption and cnMaestro cloud management for secure, scalable networks

In daily use

Mount the V1000 Client on a pole or wall, connect it to a PoE switch or injector, and it automatically discovers and associates with a cnWave V1000 Distribution Node. The integrated phased array antenna forms a narrow, steerable beam that overcomes obstacles and reflections, maintaining a stable link up to 200 meters (650 feet). With two Gigabit Ethernet ports, you can connect a local device and daisy-chain power to another unit, simplifying multi-radio sites. Through cnMaestro or the web GUI, you can monitor link quality, throughput, and security settings in real time.
