Cat.6A afgeschermde keystone-bus gereedschapsloos Equip 767222

The equip® Cat.6A Shielded Keystone Jack Toolfree (model 767222) is a compact, flat keystone connector designed for Cat.6A shielded cabling systems. It provides a tool-free termination and a standard RJ-45 interface, and is suitable for mounting in faceplates, wall outlets and patch panels. The jack is manufactured to meet industry standards and is supplied in packs of 8 pieces.

Advantages

The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference for improved signal integrity in high-speed networks. Its toolless termination simplifies and speeds up installation without the need for punch-down tools. The flat, space-saving construction and standard RJ-45 connector ensure compatibility with common faceplates and patch panels. Packaged in sets of 8, the keystone jacks support bulk deployments.

How to use

Insert the stripped, shielded Cat.6A cable conductors into the designated wire entry points according to the colour code printed on the jack. Close the toolless mechanism to secure the wires; ensure the cable shield is properly terminated to the jack’s shield contact for continuity. Snap the keystone jack into a compatible faceplate, outlet or patch panel until it locks in place. Connect an RJ-45 patch cable to the jack for network access.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded Cat.6A cable and ensure the cable shield is grounded at one point. Follow standard cabling practices: maintain proper bend radius, avoid running parallel to high-voltage lines, and test each terminated port with a certified network tester after installation.
