CCTV-beveiligingscamera Hikvision DS-2CE79H8T-AIT3ZF dome 2560 x 1944 pixel

The Hikvision DS-2CE79H8T-AIT3ZF Dome is a high-resolution outdoor CCTV security camera offering 2560 x 1944 pixel imaging in a compact dome form factor. Designed for ceiling or wall mounting, it provides flexible installation and a 360° rotation angle to aid coverage planning. The camera uses a CMOS sensor and an adjustable focal length of 2.7–13.5 mm to capture wide to narrow fields of view, with a horizontal viewing angle of 92.3° and a tilt range from 0° to 75°. Wired connectivity and integrated video motion detection support continuous monitoring in outdoor placements, and the two-tone body (black and white) suits a range of exterior environments.

Advantages

The camera delivers high-resolution surveillance images at up to 2560 x 1944 pixels and records smooth motion at 30 fps for clear identification of moving objects. An adjustable 2.7–13.5 mm focal range lets installers tune the field of view for general area coverage or focused scenes. The 360° rotation capability combined with a wide horizontal viewing angle and a 0–75° tilt range increases installation flexibility for ceilings and walls. Wired connectivity and built-in video motion detection enable reliable continuous operation and event-triggered recording in outdoor settings.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and exterior building surveillance
• Parking lots and driveway monitoring
• Entrance and loading bay coverage
• Public outdoor areas requiring fixed, wired CCTV

Adjust the varifocal lens within the 2.7–13.5 mm range to obtain the desired field of view and focus. Connect the unit to a compatible wired recording or monitoring system and configure frame rate and motion detection settings according to the surveillance requirements. Confirm outdoor cabling and seals meet local weatherproofing standards to ensure reliable operation.

Recommendations

Place the camera where its 92.3° horizontal view and variable focal length can cover the intended area without obstruction. For long-term outdoor reliability, use weatherproof cable conduits and check mounting tightness periodically. Tune motion detection sensitivity to reduce false triggers from moving foliage or traffic while ensuring detection of relevant events.
