Centerboor Bosch 2 608 900 592 8 mm diameter 1 stuk

EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic Drill Bit for Long Life Drilling Hard Tiles. The Bosch EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic drill bit is engineered for dry drilling in hard ceramic tiles and other hard tile materials. It features a robust HEX-9 shank and a HardCeramic tip designed to withstand the increased stress of larger, harder wall tiles, providing extended service life compared with standard tile drill bits.

Advantages

The HEX-9 shank ensures secure fitment in compatible chucks and reduces slippage during drilling. The HardCeramic cutting geometry and material allow efficient dry drilling in hard ceramics without the need for coolant or lubricant, and the bit offers significantly longer life than Bosch benchmark tile bits under comparable conditions.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in hard ceramic wall tiles
• Creating pilot or anchor holes for screws and fasteners in tile-covered surfaces
• Dry drilling applications where cooling or lubrication is not practical

How to use

Mark the drilling position on the tile and ensure the drill is set to the correct speed for ceramic materials. Fit the EXPERT HEX-9 HardCeramic bit into a compatible chuck, secure it, and start drilling with light pressure. Maintain steady, perpendicular alignment to avoid chipping. For best results with hard tiles, use intermittent drilling to reduce heat build-up; the bit is suitable for dry drilling so external coolant is not required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses and gloves). Verify the chuck accepts a HEX-9 shank. If drilling near edges, support the tile and proceed with lower speed and lighter pressure to minimize break-out.
