How to use

Insert the card into the CFexpress Type A slot of a compatible camera or card reader following the device manufacturer’s orientation guide. Format the card in-camera before first use to ensure optimal compatibility and file system setup. During shooting, monitor available capacity and recording indicators on your device; when transferring files, connect via a compatible card reader or directly using the device’s data interface to offload footage and images to a computer for editing and archive. Handle the card by the edges and avoid exposing contacts to contaminants.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, periodically format the card in the camera it will be used in, keep firmware on your camera and card reader up to date, and maintain at least 10–15% free capacity to support sustained write operations. Store the card in a protective case when not in use and avoid extreme temperatures and prolonged exposure to moisture.
