Cilinderstofzuiger AEG AB81A2DG

The AEG AB81A2DG is a cylinder vacuum cleaner designed for dry household cleaning. With a maximum input power of 650 W, a 5 L dust bag and HEPA filtration, this grey vacuum balances cleaning performance with manageable energy use. It is intended for regular maintenance on a variety of surfaces and features a noise level around 69 dB to minimise disturbance during operation.

Advantages

The AEG AB81A2DG combines a compact cylinder design with a relatively high dust capacity, allowing longer cleaning sessions without frequent bag changes. HEPA filtration captures fine dust and allergens, improving indoor air quality during use. The 650 W maximum input power provides sufficient suction for common household dirt on carpets and hard floors while keeping power consumption moderate. At approximately 5.79 kg, the unit is portable enough to carry between rooms and up stairs.

Key specifications

How to use

Fit a compatible 5 L dust bag and ensure the HEPA filter is correctly installed before first use. Connect the cleaner to a suitable mains outlet, select the appropriate power setting if available, and use the recommended floor nozzle for the surface: a soft brush or parquet tool for hard floors and a motorised or combination head for carpets. Move the nozzle at a steady pace, overlapping strokes to ensure even dirt removal. Empty or replace the dust bag when full and check the HEPA filter periodically for dust build-up, replacing it according to manufacturer guidance.

Recommendations

Use the vacuum primarily for dry cleaning; avoid liquid spills. Regularly check and replace the dust bag and HEPA filter to maintain suction and filtration efficiency. For best results on different surfaces, switch to the nozzle designed for that floor type and avoid excessive power on delicate fabrics.
