Cinch-koppeling ShiverPeaks 52001-R metaal, 6 mm, rood

Cinch coupling ShiverPeaks 52001-R metal, 6 mm, red is a metal RCA-style coupling with a 6 mm outer diameter and a red finish. It is intended for use in audio and video cabling to join RCA leads, extend connections through wall plates or patch panels, and provide a reliable mechanical connection where color coding and metal construction are preferred. The coupling fits standard RCA-style plugs and is suitable for both installation and repair tasks in consumer and professional AV setups.

Advantages

The metal construction offers increased mechanical durability compared with plastic couplings and helps maintain a stable connection under repeated insertions and removals. The 6 mm outer diameter provides compatibility with common RCA-style leads, while the red finish allows for easy channel identification. The compact, straightforward design facilitates mounting in wall plates or patch panels and supports secure cable joins without requiring soldering.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining RCA audio/video leads
• Installation in wall plates and patch panels
• Repairing Hi‑Fi and home theater cabling
• Color‑coded channel identification in multi‑cable installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA-style cinch coupling
• Material: metal housing
• Outer diameter: 6 mm
• Finish / color: red
• Application: audio and video cabling, AV systems
• Mounting: inline coupling for cables, suitable for wall plates and patch panels

How to use

Align the RCA-style plug of one cable with the coupling and push until a secure mechanical contact is achieved, then repeat with the second cable or connector to create a continuous connection. If installing into a wall plate or patch panel opening, position the coupling and secure it according to the plate’s mounting method; ensure cables are routed without strain. For repairs, disconnect power and signal sources before inserting or removing connectors to avoid potential damage to equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the coupling with standard-diameter RCA leads and avoid excess bending or tensile stress at the joint. Use the red color to mark the appropriate channel during multi‑cable installations and periodically inspect the coupling for wear if frequently disconnected and reconnected.
