Cinch-stekker ShiverPeaks 52024-S, verguld, zwarte uitvoering

The ShiverPeaks 52024-S cinch (RCA) connector is designed for reliable audio and video signal connections in custom cable assemblies and repairs. It features gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce the risk of corrosion, housed in a black-finished metal body for mechanical durability and a discreet appearance. This connector is suitable for use in AV installations, hi-fi systems, and DIY cable projects where a robust analog connection is required.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts provide stable signal transmission and improved resistance to oxidation compared with unplated contacts. The metal housing offers mechanical strength and shielding against minor electromagnetic interference while the black finish gives a professional look that integrates well with most audio and video equipment. The connector is compact and intended for straightforward assembly into RCA cable constructions and repairs.

Suitable for

• Repairing or assembling RCA audio cables and patch leads
• Connecting analog audio components such as amplifiers, receivers and CD/DVD players
• AV installations in home or professional environments requiring durable analog connectors
• Custom cable projects and hobbyist electronic assemblies

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (cinch) male
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing material: metal body with black finish for durability and shielding
• Typical use: analog audio and video signal transmission
• Form factor: compact inline design suitable for cable termination and patch leads

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and prepare the inner conductor and shield according to the cable type. Insert the cable conductors into the connector contacts and secure them following the connector's assembly method (solder or clamp depending on variant). Reassemble the housing and verify mechanical fit and electrical continuity before final installation. When connecting to audio equipment, ensure the mating RCA jack is clean and firmly engaged to maintain a reliable signal path.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid repeated unplugging under stress and keep contact surfaces clean. Use appropriate soldering or clamping techniques during assembly to ensure solid electrical joints and prevent intermittent connections. Store unused connectors in a dry environment to protect the gold plating and housing finish.
