Cinch-stekker ShiverPeaks 52091-Y verguld, cinch-bus audio/video, geel

The ShiverPeaks 52091-Y is a yellow, gold-plated RCA (Cinch) female audio/video connector designed for reliable analog signal connections in AV systems. It accepts standardized RCA plugs for composite video or line-level audio, offering corrosion-resistant contact surfaces thanks to the gold plating. The connector is intended for installation in cable assemblies, wall plates or equipment panels where color-coded identification and consistent signal transfer are required.

Advantages

The gold-plated contact surface reduces oxidation and helps maintain low contact resistance for stable analog signals. The RCA female form factor ensures compatibility with common composite video and stereo audio cables. The yellow finish provides clear color coding for easy identification during installation or maintenance. The connector's construction supports repeated mating cycles and integrates into panels or housings where a secure, standardized AV interface is needed.

Suitable for

• Composite video connections in home AV systems
• Line-level audio patching and repair
• Cable assemblies and custom AV leads
• Panel or wall-plate installations requiring color-coded connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (female, panel-mount compatible)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Finish color: yellow for visual identification
• Signal type: analog composite video and line-level audio
• Mounting style: intended for cable assembly or panel installation

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to expose the center conductor and shield according to the connector's assembly instructions. Insert the cable into the connector body, ensuring the center conductor seats into the female pin area and the shield makes proper contact with the outer conductor. Secure the connector by crimping or soldering as appropriate for the specific connector variant and mounting method, and then mount the connector in the panel or housing if required. Test the connection with the intended AV source and monitor to confirm signal continuity and correct color coding.

Recommendations

Use the yellow ShiverPeaks RCA female connector for clear channel identification and maintain connections by avoiding excessive mechanical strain on cables. Clean contacts only with appropriate contact cleaners if degradation is suspected; avoid abrasive tools that could remove plating.
