Actieve adapter DisplayPort 1.2 naar HDMI 2.0 CLUB3D CAC-2070

The Club 3D CAC-2070 is an active DisplayPort™ 1.2 to HDMI™ 2.0 adapter designed to connect a DisplayPort 1.2-equipped PC or laptop to an HDMI-enabled 4K UHD TV, monitor or projector. It implements HDMI 2.0 specifications with three TMDS lanes, delivering a total throughput of 18 Gbps and supporting resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz while carrying up to 8 audio channels.

Advantages

This active adapter enables 4K UHD output at 60 Hz from systems that only have DisplayPort 1.2, providing smooth video and gameplay. It supports full HDMI 2.0 TMDS throughput (6 Gbps per channel, 18 Gbps total) and transmits both Ultra High Definition video and multi-channel digital audio, making it suitable for TVs, monitors and projectors without native HDMI 2.0 output.

Key specifications

• Input: DisplayPort 1.2
• Output: HDMI 2.0
• Maximum resolution: up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz
• TMDS throughput: 6 Gbps per channel, 18 Gbps total
• Audio: up to 8 channels
• Type: active signal converter / adapter

How to use

Connect the adapter's DisplayPort plug to the DisplayPort 1.2 output on your computer or laptop, then connect an HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI port to your HDMI-capable TV, monitor or projector. Ensure the display device is set to the correct HDMI input and select the desired resolution and refresh rate (up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz) in your operating system's display settings. No driver installation is typically required for standard video and audio passthrough.

Recommendations

For optimal results use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbps (HDMI 2.0) and verify your source device supports DisplayPort 1.2 output. When using high resolutions and refresh rates, ensure your display and HDMI cable support 4K@60Hz and that system graphics settings are configured accordingly.
