Coax-antennekabel ShiverPeaks 80014-S, 100% afgeschermd, 75 dB demping, BK-compatibel

ShiverPeaks 80014-S is a coaxial antenna cable engineered for BK-compatible antenna installations. The cable provides complete 100% shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and a defined attenuation characteristic of 75 dB for predictable signal loss. Designed for use between antennas and receivers, the cable supports RF signal transmission for TV, radio and other communications equipment where strong shielding and a known attenuation profile are required.

Advantages

The cable’s continuous 100% shielding minimizes ingress of external noise and improves immunity to nearby transmitters and electronic devices. Its defined 75 dB attenuation specification allows installers and system designers to calculate link budgets and expected signal levels more accurately. The BK compatibility ensures straightforward integration with commonly used antenna sockets and equipment. The construction and outer jacket provide durable handling and stable electrical performance over typical installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting roof or indoor antennas to TV receivers and set-top boxes
• Radio reception systems requiring strong shielding
• RF test setups and measurement links where known attenuation is needed
• Installations in areas with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Topology: coaxial antenna cable suitable for BK-type connections
• Shielding: 100% continuous electromagnetic shielding
• Attenuation: 75 dB characteristic (specified signal loss)
• Color and finish: black outer jacket for standard installations
• Cable length: 3.75 m (fixed specified length for typical runs)

How to use

Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the antenna output and the other end to the receiver’s BK-compatible input, ensuring threaded or push-fit connections are secure and free from corrosion. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress, and keep it separated from mains wiring and high-power equipment to reduce potential interference. If the installation is outdoors or in exposed areas, use appropriate weatherproofing at connection points to maintain performance over time.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify the receiver and antenna connectors are BK compatible before installation, plan the link budget accounting for the cable’s 75 dB attenuation, and avoid excessive bending radii. For outdoor runs use additional sealing at connectors; for critical reception situations consider using signal amplifiers or attenuators as needed based on measured signal levels.
